Rambagh Palace

Rambagh Palace

Rambagh Palace
Originally constructed in 1835 as a garden house and hunting lodge for the rulers of Jaipur, Rambagh Palace is now set within beautiful landscaped gardens. It later served as the primary residence of the Jaipur royal family, under Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II.
Styled with Mughal and Rajput influences, Rambagh embodies the passage of Jaipur’s royalty into modernity. The palace was subsequently repurposed into a luxury heritage hotel post-independence, exemplifying the transition from royal habitation to adaptive re-use.
Today, Rambagh Palace symbolizes the preservation of Jaipur’s royal legacy rather than a reinterpretation powered by it, with its historical architecture complemented by modern hospitality.
