Light house

Light house

The lighthouse, by the Dwarka waterfront, has a different feel. The town fades, the sea becomes louder and the sky unclenches. It contrasts sharply with the fortified city that it serves, a reminder that Dwarka has always been a port city, connected to traders and pilgrims—and the rest of the world.

Standing here, as you watch the waves lapping at the rocks, it becomes possible to comprehend the stories of a submerged city. The sea looks as if it carries a lot of secrets; it is a custodian of memory.
