Narendra Bhawan
The last ruling Maharaja of Bikaner has turned his residence into a luxury hotel, aptly called Narendra Bhawan—the gateway from monarchy to modernity. A combination of personal history and design and narrative, it exists today as a remaking of royal memory. In contrast to decay, the building seems to embody adaptation, illustrating the potential for accretion of heritage without erasure.
